Frequently Asked Questions
HOW LONG WILL DRIED FLOWERS LAST?

Our favorite answer is: about 50 times longer than fresh flowers! Actually, how long they look great is somewhat up to you. Don't display them in direct sunlight or damp environments and they will look great for at least a year, sometimes two.

WON'T THEY GET BROKEN IN SHIPPING?

They're not as durable as leather products but they'll easily survive the trip to your home or we'd be out of business. The Cramer family has been shipping dried flowers for 35 years with a money- back guarantee so rest assured, we know how to pack 'em! But if you open a box and see some larkspur petals on the bottom for instance, don't panic. Some flowers will shed a few petals in transit and still look great.

WILL THEY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURE?

Of course not. These are real flowers cut from real plants that grow in the real world with a lot of natural variations and we can only do our best to show you a representative photo.

HOW BIG IS A "BUNCH"?

We grade most of our bunches by weight, some by stem count. Standards are different for each crop and a bunch of larger flowers contains fewer stems than a bunch with small flowers but in each case, what you get is a "nice bunch".

AREN'T DRIED FLOWERS DELICATE TO WORK WITH?

They're tougher than most people think, but a good trick to make them more "user friendly" is to place them in a garbage bag with a damp sponge or cloth overnight. The flowers absorb some of the moisture which makes them more pliable and less prone to breakage the next day.

CAN YOU ANSWER MY FLOWER GROWING OR DESIGNING QUESTIONS?

Nope. Sorry, but we're in the business of growing acres and acres of flowers, not giving advice. There are plenty of books available on gardening, drying and designing with everlastings. as well as some web sites where you can get the answers you need. We simply don't have the time. We stick to production because that's what we do best.
